David T. Slick, Sr. - President
David Slick founded Command Medical Products in 1987 to serve the growing needs of the disposable medical device industry for outsource manufacturing. Command is a premier contract manufacturer of disposable medical devices for many multi national medical device marketers. In addition to participating in the daily operations of Command, David is a civic leader in the community. Currently he serves on the Board of Directors for Florida’s Blood Centers and is Chairperson of the facilities and capital planning committee as well as Trustee at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. David is past Chairperson and current board member for the Florida International Festival and also past President and current member of the Ormond Beach Rotary Club and the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce.


Joyce Vytlacil - Vice President, Operations
Joyce began her career in the medical device industry managing the contract sterilization and microbiology laboratory for Portex, Inc. After ten years in sterilization, she expanded into operations with Baxter Healthcare by managing the Disposable Products Department, Auto Syringe Division. Joyce moved on to manage Micro Med, Inc. as a General Manager, prior to becoming part owner. In 2000, Micro Med was acquired by Command Medical Products and Joyce joined the Command Medical management Team. As part of her general management experience, her specialties include ethylene oxide and gamma sterilization management, product development, 510K submissions and manufacturing operations.


Carlos Gadea – Operations Manager, Nicaragua Facility
Carlos joined Command Medical Products, Inc. in July of 2004 as the Operations Manager of the Managua, Nicaragua manufacturing facility. He received his Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering at the Universidad Americana and his Masters is Business Administration from INCAE, the Central American Harvard Affiliate University in Managua, Nicaragua. Prior to joining Command, Carlos worked in the polyurethane business in New Business Development at Chemstar Urethanes and as a Plant Manager at Escofoam S.A.. Carlos speaks both Spanish and English and is responsible for all plant activities in the Command, Managua facility.


Karl Swartz - QA/RA Manager
Karl has amassed over thirty years experience in medical manufacturing Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. His start began with a position at Underwriter's Labs. Karl moved on to positions with GD Searle where he served as QA Engineer and QA Manager, Regulatory Affairs. Moving to Florida, Karl joined MD Tech where he was QA Manager and Manager of Regulatory Affairs. Through his positions, Karl has garnered experience with a variety of product lines such as neonatal monitoring equipment, biopsy needles, catheters, guidewires, and other diagnostic devices. He has additional experience with managing corporate quality assurance & capital equipment releases.


Stephanie McGee - Director of Sales & Marketing
Stephanie began her career in the medical device industry with Command Medical Products, Inc. in 1996. During her tenure with Command, she has supported the sales department in various roles as Sales and Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Manager and currently as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Along with responsibilities for new business development and marketing initiatives, Stephanie collaborates with the operations and engineering groups to facilitate new product development and transfers.


Jim Skelly - Manager of Logistics and Information Systems
Jim joined Command Medical in 2001 as Logistics Manager and Information Systems Manager. Prior to joining Command, Jim served over 18 years with Cardiac Control Systems, Inc., a manufacturer of implantable cardiac pacemakers and related products. His positions during that tenure included Computer Systems Manager, Purchasing Manager, V.P Information Systems and V.P. Manufacturing. Jim received his BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Penn State University. He worked for several years as a Research Assistant at the Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State, assisting with the development and evaluation of torpedo guidance systems for the U.S. Navy.
