Command Medical Products, Inc. was founded in 1987 by current owner and president, David T. Slick, Sr. His idea was to establish a vertically integrated manufacturing environment to support the growing trend in outsourcing an idea that proved successful and led Inc. magazine to recognize Command Medical as one of the 500 fastes t-growing privately held businesses in the United States.
Commands 56,000-square-foot facility was designed and constructed exclusively for medical contract manufacturing, a commitment we have maintained to the medical industry. Three certified Class 7 cleanrooms are used for the manufacturing and assembly of critical care devices, with general production areas designated for the fabrication of less critical products. All manufacturing at Command is controlled through the same quality system, ensuring full traceability and GMP compliance.
From day one, Command has proven our ability to meet the changing needs and standards of the industry and our customers. Command maintains FDA registration and ISO 13485 certification.
Pulling from the medical industrys elite, Command has developed a core management team rich in experience and talent. This team of the industrys best and brightest consistently proves to be one of Commands most valuable assets.
Command expanded our service offerings with the purchase of The Micro Med Division in October of 2000. Through this acquisition, Command blended the technology and processes associated with Huber winged infusion systems into our dossier. In the same spirit, Command launched its first proprietary product the HuberPRO Safety Huber Needle Infusion Set. With a firm commitment to the expansion of services for our customers, Command continues to look for new opportunities in the future.
