David T. Slick, Sr. – CEO

David Slick founded Command Medical Products in 1987 to serve the growing needs of the disposable medical device industry for outsource manufacturing. Command is a premier contract manufacturer of disposable medical devices for many multi national medical device marketers. In addition to participating in the daily operations of Command, David is a civic leader in the community. Mr. Slick has served on the Board of Directors for Florida’s Blood Centers and is Chairperson of the facilities and capital planning committee. David is past Chairperson and current board member for the Florida International Festival and also past President and current member of the Ormond Beach Rotary Club and the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce.  Through the years he as generously donated to Embry-Riddle, Rotory Club, Seabreeze High School, Museum of Arts and Science, Daytona Blues Society and Futures.

Jim Carnall – President

Jim earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1978. Since that time he has held positions as the VP of Manufacturing for Kodak Health Imaging Systems, the Director of Operations of the Florida Tissue Bank as well as the Director of Operations for Regeneration Technologies Inc. (RTI) and COO of ViewRay. Jim has extensive experience in business management and oversight of multiple manufacturing sites. In his current role, Jim is responsible for running both Florida and Nicaragua plants.

Stephanie McGee – Vice President of Marketing

Stephanie began her career in the medical device industry with Command Medical Products, Inc. in 1996. Stephanie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Supervision at Daytona State College.  During her tenure with Command, she has worked as a project manager and supported the sales department in various roles as Sales and Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing and currently as Vice President of Sales. Along with responsibilities for new business development and marketing initiatives, she collaborates with the operations and engineering groups to facilitate new product development and transfers.  In addition to Stephanie’s sales experience, she maintains certification from the ASQ as a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and holds a certification in Lean Six Sigma for Champions.

Carlos Gadea – Plant Manager, Nicaragua Facility

Carlos joined Command Medical Products, Inc. in July of 2004 and is the current Plant Manager of the Managua, Nicaragua facility. He received his Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering at the Universidad Americana and his Masters is Business Administration from INCAE, the Central American Harvard Affiliate University in Managua, Nicaragua. Prior to joining Command, Carlos worked in the polyurethane business in New Business Development at Chemstar Urethanes and as a Plant Manager at Escofoam S.A.. Carlos speaks both Spanish and English and is responsible for all facets of the Managua, Nicaragua facility.

Paula Heriet – Director of Operations, Florida Facility

Paula is an alumna of Washington State University where she earned her B.A. in Communications. As the Director of Operations, Paula is responsible for the manufacturing operations in Florida and company wide operational excellence. She has over 18 years prior experience in the manufacturing sector through Florida MEP and Crane Aerospace acting as a project manager, value stream manager, supply chain manager and operational excellence manager. In addition to her work experience and B.A., Paula is a certified quality auditor by ASQ and a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

John Basham – Director of Engineering

John received his Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Northrop University and his Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix.  He has over 30 years of engineering, manufacturing, and leadership experience in the filtration and purification industries. Prior to Command, John worked as a Project Engineer, Facilities Engineer and Director of Manufacturing for Pall Corporation and as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Puroflow Corporation.  John is currently responsible for all engineering related activities in support of both new and legacy product manufacturing.

John Walter– Director of New Business Development

John joined Command Medical in 2015 bringing with him over 20 years of experience. High concentration of his time was spent in manufacturing, injection molding and new business development at prior employers Ernie Green Industries and Delphi. Walter holds a MBA, with a concentration in finance and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology, both from the University of Dayton. John is responsible for the company’s overall sales and new business development efforts.
